QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

Nordmann Portugal commits to establish a policy capable of satisfying the needs and expectations of the customers and of other interested parties, such as employees, shareholders, suppliers and society itself.

Therefore, Nordmann Portugal has established, implemented and communicated internally and externally the following Quality and Food Safety Policy:

  • Ensure the compliance with all legal, our customers’, and other applicable requirements.
  • Offer products that ensure customer satisfaction and retention, maintaining the specified quality standards.
  • Strengthen our position in the market and, at the same time, expand the volume and quality of our services. Together we will successfully shape our future.
  • View our customers and suppliers as long term partners in order to create consistency and trust.
  • According to our corporative culture, each employee is responsible for their tasks and actions within the Quality Management System and the Food Safety Management System;
  • Promote good social pratices;
  • Promote continuous improvement by encouraging cooperation and team spirit;
  • Organize and maintain a risk analysis system, in order to guarantee the safety of products and procedures;
  • Ensure the appropriate communication on the quality and the food safety of the products;
  • Apply the Food Safety Management System as a guarantee of public health, ensuring that risks are identified, evaluated and controlled, in order to prevent any direct or indirect harm to the consumer;
  • Respect the ethical values based on responsibility and confidentiality;
  • Promote our employees by offering the necessary training and by modernizing the operational systems;

The basic principle consists of the development of each person within the organization, of the actions through which all intervening parties make of the quality their way of life and create a true team spirit as the cornerstone of the company’s culture, wherein everybody knows their functions, duties and rights.
